Welcome to the Virtual Tour Group
A great marketing tool
Overview of what is on offer

Hi, I'm Dave Burton, web developer and virtual tour professional (3000 virtual tours and counting...).

Here's my fave pub...The Hingemakers...in virtual tour format of course!

Our virtual tours cost from just £180 + VAT for a full six scene tour.

Based in the North West, my team and I can provide virtual tours for pubs/bars/restaurants/anything anywhere. Nationally and internationally.

In America, virtual tours are becoming huge - there has been a 2400% increase in Google searches for 'real estate virtual tour' in the last 12 months (August 2021 to August 2022).

Similar stats for 'property virtual tour', and 'holiday rental virtual tour'. These figures truly show the interest in virtual tours now everyone can access broadband. People buy property with nothing more than viewing a virtual tour now...impressive indeed!

Do you feel your business might benefit from a marketing boost?

Virtual tours can help

Your property would look great, potential renters/buyers can see just what is on offer, you can highlight features perfectly and add further info wherever required. Embedded inside all our virtual tours is a 'more info' button which allows a visitor to email you with their questions.

Obviously we do more than just property - if you have a commercial space (hotel, restaurant, wedding venue, museum, holiday property, villa, office etc) and are interested, just call me, Dave on 07817382460 or email dave@daveburton.co.uk and we can discuss.

FAQs
A few probing questions

How do you make a virtual tour?

A virtual tour is a digital construction of a property that allows you to walk through the space as if you were there in person; a marketing and sales tool used to view and share a space in a responsive and immersive 360° environment. They are built from collections of panoramic photographs, 'stitched' together to form a full 360° view of each space in a property, then linked together to produce the final tour.

Special cameras, lenses, technology, tripods, rotating devices, methods and know-how are used to bring a tour together into a stunning, immersive visual experience for the viewer.

When is the best time to do the photography?

The ideal time to do the photography work is when the property is vacant and post-clean, before any customers turn up.

We call this the 'shoot window' to sound all posh.

On arrival we will take a look around and plan with you exactly the best order to do the shoot.

We use specialised equipment to take the photographs, moving around the property as planned - this way we ensure routes for viewers are clear and obvious.

We just need the address and meet-up details. Any special parking info would be useful also. And let us know about any info hot-spots you might like.

And that's it! We'll get the results to you on a special bespoke website within 48 hours. This will be named pubvirtual.tours/[your surname]/[your pub name]. You won't be disappointed.

What is your guarantee all about?

If you are not completely satisfied with the virtual tour/s after viewing, we won't charge you a penny.

We'll simply remove the tour/s from our servers and wish you all the best.

This is a risk-free opportunity to boost your marketing.

Where would my virtual tours appear?

Once you have approved the virtual tours and paid, we integrate the tours free of charge wherever required:

  • Your website
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter
  • Pinterest
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube
  • Other social media
  • Email the link
  • WhatsApp the link
  • Any other method you have of communicating with potential customers (hmmm, they're not great in a letter mind, tho a link could be added)

Also, the virtual tours are added to Google Street View, see Google Street View below.

What can you supply re Google Street View?

We add all virtual tours to Google Street View, entirely free of charge.

A hotspot will appear on Google Street View directly on your property, the viewer clicks on the hotspot and is passed seamlessly into the virtual tour.

This is an awesome added value extra.

There's an adage in this industry…

The more you show Google, the more Google show you. Couldn't be truer.

What about hosting fees?

Hosting is included for the first 12 months. Beyond this, there is a hosting fee of £40 + VAT per property per year.

You don't charge expenses?

For properties within 50 miles of Ashton-in-Makerfield there are no expenses charged. Beyond 50 miles is 0.50p per additional mile - so if you're 90 miles away, we'd like you to cover 40 miles = £20.

We hope that is reasonable - we just couldn't travel to, say, Devon for a six-scene virtual tour without covering costs.

Additionally if we need to stay overnight this would need to be covered. We only use modest accommodation in this instance (normally the cheaper end of what's available on laterooms…kind of averse to hostels tho if you don't mind).

So just how much experience do you have in producing virtual tours? Are you just jumping on the latest trend?

We have masses of experience, and love what we do (which, at the end of the day, is put a smile on people's faces).

I have worked in the web industry for decades; this often included photographing properties using specialist equipment and creating virtual tours to showcase properties online in the best way possible.

In the noughties I owned and curated a number of virtual tour websites and created over 3000 virtual tours. Now, in the 2020s, the technology and load speeds have improved so dramatically, it is time to use my wealth of experience in a modern way. It is time for you to add a virtual tour to your online presence.

In the past we developed virtual tours for:

  • Rental properties
  • Holiday cottages
  • New properties
  • Villas
  • Hotels
  • Restaurants
  • Cars (interior)
  • Offices
  • Many more

So yes, we kinda know what we're doing.

How popular are virtual tours?

50% of adult users on the internet rely on virtual tours in their research and decision-making process. Customers spend 5 to 10 times more on websites with virtual tours. 67% of people want more businesses to offer virtual tours. There are more than 5 million visits daily on worldwide virtual tours.

How successful are virtual tours?

It was demonstrated that people who viewed listings that offered virtual tours were twice as likely to show an interest in making a reservation. In the 18 - 34 age bracket, virtual tours were especially effective, with an increase of 130% in the chances of making a booking.

Do virtual tours work?

With the latest technologies available, a virtual tour shows the property in it's perfectly staged glory. They are great for creating interest from visitors and are a huge benefit for stakeholders to properly see what they are interested in.

Do virtual tours help businesses?

Virtual tours can help businesses to showcase their premises to a much larger audience. As virtual tours are published online, this can allow businesses to expose their premises to a global and online audience.

Reasons for Virtual Tours
There are many...

Click anywhere in the boxes below.

All-round benefits

The benefits for any visitor to your virtual tour are that they can:

  • Gain a real appreciation of the property
  • Click to move from room to room for the full virtual tour
  • Click to view outdoor space
  • Click to toggle full screen
  • Click to share
  • Click to view any additional info indicated by an info hot-spot (for example the WiFi password), video, other online elements.

The benefits for yourself is that the potential visitors get a real impression of what you have to offer, and are far more likely to use your establishment if they like what they see in the virtual tour.

A Closer Look

A virtual tour allows stakeholders to explore your premises in high levels of detail.

By capturing high-quality images and video, virtual tours can allow users to observe a location in great detail from a first-person perspective.

Access All Areas

Once a virtual tour is published, your location and services can be accessed and viewed by users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A virtual tour can allow businesses to showcase areas which may be off-limits to the public, or difficult to access for those with mobility issues.

For example, a heritage site may want to produce a virtual tour which would allow users the opportunity to access and view a fragile exhibit that would ordinarily be off-limits or inaccessible to the public.

Multimedia add-ons

Virtual tours can also incorporate additional multimedia elements such as text, music, videos, animations, voiceovers, augmented reality, PDFs etc. By incorporating additional visual elements, this can help to enhance the overall user experience.

Save Time & Money!

Another benefit of virtual tours is that these are an efficient alternative to hosting a tour in person.

For many years, the only feasible way for a business to provide a tour of a location was to have a member of staff host and navigate a group around their premises and provide a detailed explanation of the surroundings.

Imagine you have a function room...your potential customers and clients get an in-depth understanding of exactly what is on offer within minutes. Not just a couple of snaps, a no-holds-barred vision of what they may get.

Producing a virtual tour will allow visitors unlimited access to your premises without being accompanied.

Safety First!

A big concern for all businesses is ensuring the safety and well-being of on-site visitors.

However, by creating a virtual tour, a business can produce an interactive experience that allows users to explore and access areas with no risk of health and safety and contamination.
